Our monthly meeting will feature: Sharon Hawkes, recently retired library director from Nahant, Mass. Sharon graduated from Syracuse University in 2008 with a Masters in Library and Information Science. For the past 3 years she has facilitated live and online conversations about book bans, including at a DEI symposium hosted by Ohio’s school library Association and Kent State University. She will be presenting: “Not your Grandma’s Book Ban!”
